Cocina Salazar stems it's passion for cooking through many generations. It all started with Doña Mercedes, 80, who has worked her whole life to ensure the farming in her community has contributed to the fresh produce of families in her area in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Mercedes is a mother of 3, and grandmother of 5, who has passed down her love for the kitchen to the generations to come.
